Dani Dudás: ’I can get in shape, if I am racing’ – 2 days until the Nationals

Although he entered the first four stops of this year’s World Cup, Dániel Dudás, swimmer of Iron Swim has chosen Short Course Nationals instead of the closing Asian cluster. However, he set in a race in Serbia before the Nationals to be held from Wednesday in Százhalombatta.

‘I can get in shape, if I am racing and before the Nationals, I wanted to challenge myself’ started Dani. ‘I undertook one event per day, my program included 200 medley, 100 free, 100 medley and 200 free, but since there were semifinals, too, finals of the 100 m events were slipped through the following day. Overall, it was a great race. I missed two years, but before I competed in Zrenjanin for three consecutive years. The organizers were very nice and friendly.’

Dani Dudás claimed 2 gold and 1 silver medals, he won both medley events, finished second in 100 free and sixth in 200 free.

‘100 events went very well, I swam personal record in 100 medley’ he said happily. ‘I like 100 medley very much, especially this time at the end of the year, when I am getting faster in all stroke and getting better and better times. Based on the Serbian experience I think I will swim very fast at the Nationals.’

We hope that he will get through the home journey and the 5-hour wait at the border soon, since Short Course Nationals will start on Wednesday in Százhalombatta where besides him further 17 swimmers enter from Iron Swim: Borka Bányai, Vivien Bodó, Zsombor Bujdosó, Laura Fecske, Dávid Földházi, Sándor Gerebics, Katica Híves, Alexandra Jarkas, Dániel Kláris, Márta Kropkó, Lazar Zlatic, Benedek Lendvai, Máté Majoros, Kornél Nyilas, Zselyke Papp, Georgina Sánta, Dorina Szignárovics.

From 7th November again go Iron Swim!
